If we were sitting in my living room right now, there would likely be a fresh batch of pumpkin chocolate chip cookies cooling on the counter, a half-finished crochet project draped over the armrest, and a slightly overgrown Syngonium reaching toward the window. My days have always been tethered to things that require patience, warm light, and a gentle hand.
Long before I spent my time seeking out rich, chocolate-brown shadows to frame a photograph, my days were measured in the beautiful, chaotic rhythm of a childcare classroom. Spending years guiding little ones taught me a quiet, enduring truth: the most profound magic doesn't live in the perfectly orchestrated milestones. It lives in the messy, unscripted in-between. Children don’t need our perfection; they just need our unhurried presence.
That same understanding is the heartbeat of this space.
